Fenix Fire is comprised of experienced game developers from some of the biggest AAA game companies out there, such as Blizzard, Midway, Disney, Atari, Nintendo, Sony, Square and Microsoft, just to name a few. At Fenix Fire we strive to produce fun, casually old school games that are easy to play yet difficult to master with vibrant, cheerful 3D graphics. We're also not afraid to take chances by placing unique twists on those familiar themes that we all know and love. Quite simply, we're an Indy developer with AAA values.
For our protection and yours, please do not send any game or project proposals as we do not accept unapproved materials of any kind.

BRIAN MCRAE - CEO AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Brian has been in the game industry for most of his life; from the very humble beginnings working retail at FuncoLand (which later became GameStop). After spending hours behind the register wondering what it would be like to actually design games, Brian went to college, studied 3D art, made a kick but demo reel, and landed a job at High Voltage Software. Working on big games for the Xbox 1, which at that time was just a rumor to most people, Brian loved every minute of creating levels for the "Hunter: The Reckoning" series. Soon after, Brian joined Midway Games and had the pleasure of working on the amazing "Psi Ops" and then one of his favorite franchises of all time, "Mortal Kombat". Anxious to get some California sun, Brian moved to work for Blizzard Entertainment as a Lead Environment Artist. Sadly, his career at Blizzard was short lived when "Star Craft Ghost" was put on hold. Excited for all the new opportunities in digital download, Brian went off on his own and started Fenix Fire Entertainment. Together, with his wife Anna, Fenix Fire set out to make a "simple jumping game" for mobile devices, which later became "Roboto". With "Roboto" now complete, Brian looks forward to exploring this amazing medium and in creating many more games. |
ANNA GAMBAL-MCRAE - ART QUEEN EXTRAORDINAIRE
Anna is our free spirited artist who has touched all kinds of giant projects. Starting out in drawing and painting, Anna soon discovered all the amazing things that can be accomplished on the computer. After getting her art degree, Anna soon went into feature film animation by working as a texture painter on "Barnyard, The Movie" at Omation. Once the movie was complete, Anna stepped into the games industry and worked as an environment artist on "Silent Hill", "GI Joe" and "Front Mission" at Foundation 9 before joining Brian at Fenix Fire Entertainment. Traditional art is still her forte, as Anna creates lots of concept sketches of new characters and environments. She is always inspired by the world around her and is constantly taking photos of landscapes, animals, skies, and anything else she finds beautiful. Growing up in her native country of Poland, Anna appreciates craftsmanship in her art and can't wait to create more lush and vibrant worlds to explore. |
